"This powerful horse comes from seemingly nowhere, yet so strong and unmistakably true to its essence. It captures the spirit of how I feel we emerge - when we tap into our own sense of self and step forward fully, alive, and in the light."

This is a practice piece (aka: Study) that I did, the first where the only parameter was to use oil paint on a large canvas. I really wanted to capture energy and a dreamy nature. The sides of the canvas are painted black, and it comes ready to hang as is or you can choose to frame it to match your decor. No glass necessary, all paint and varnish are archival, but it's always best not to place artwork in direct sunlight. This piece will look best under warm indoor lighting.
